Attending the emotional, physical, and spiritual
needs of residents and students
Harless Center provides programs for WVU students that not only address growing concerns such as food insecurity and mental health, but also address faith or belief systems and how that influences our lives.
Three of our key programs are listed below. We also support internships. |
Sunday dinnersEvery Sunday we have a sit down dinner for residents and friends. Our dinners offer not only a good meal for students who may need it, but also a space to gather and take a break in community.
|
Faith and LifeFour times a year, Harless Center sponsors a dinner and speaker who shares how their faith and beliefs have made a difference and guided their lives. We have heard from professors, peacemakers, law students, and non-profit staff among other speakers
|
ServiceHarless Center offers an opportunity for students to help improve the community. Annually we sponsor a bowl painting party for the Empty Bowls fundraiser that combats hunger in Morgantown. We also offer non-perishable food donation site at move out to donate to the student food bank at WVU, the Rack.
